Valentine’s Session w/ “E”

I posted a sneak peek a couple of days ago and just finished up with her session. I know I’ve said it before, but this little girls is just a doll and oooh how I could just squeeze her. So cute!!

Snow day

Well Indiana, and a lot of other states, got hit with quite a bit of snow. In my city it was reported that we got about 7 inches or so. My mother-in-law, who lives in Indianapolis, got around 12-13 inches. That’s more snow than we’ve seen in a long time. When the snow finally stopped, my husband set out to shovel the sidewalk. E of course loves to help out so my husband gave her a broom to help sweep off the cars. Our dog Bella LOVES the snow. She will bury her face in the snow and just go plain crazy in it. I love it!!

Yesterday after church I took B to the mall to get her dress for the Valentine’s Dance at school. We also found E the cutest little hat at The Children’s Place. I got it for 2.50! I also found the cutest little hat for my newest family member that I’ll be doing a newborn sessin with next weekend. I got that for 2.50 as well. It was a great day with lots of bargains.

In B’s photograph, her strap didn’t show because of her hair and you’ll see her beautiful red dress in an upcoming post. I just wanted to post a couple of pics for you all to see in the meantime.

Miss “E” ~Sneak Peek

I had the most wonderful visit today with “E” and her mommy. I can’t believe how much E has grown just since November! Her hair is lighter, she is more expressive. I just love her to pieces. You can find other posts featuring E and her mommy and daddy at the following links.

 I can’t believe that it’s been almost a year since I first photographed the H families wedding. Time goes by so fast. I’m so blessed to know this wonderful family.

From my backyard

Because the weather has been so cold and icky…I haven’t really had much of an opportunity to shoot anything outside. Also, there have been many times while driving to work that I will see an amazing sky and miss it because I didn’t bring my camera with me. Well, yesterday I decided to bring it with me. I captured the first two when I went out to start my car. The sky and clouds were a beautiful pink…but for some reason that color cast didn’t show up in the images. The last image was taken while on my way to work.

Valentine Sweetie

Are you all tired of seeing my littlest model yet? No worries…I have two fresh faces that I’ll be posting next week. In the meantime, here is my little one posing…again for me. lol

2008 Basketball (cheerleading) season

Well the 2008 cheerleading season is just about over. I’m glad for the most part, but also sad because my oldest loves it so much. Next year I think she wants to try out for High School Cheerleading. She is so good and always gives it 110% no matter what she does. She makes me very proud.

Teen portraits

My oldest wanted pictures for her myspace and so I am always willing to “help out” no matter how cold it is outside. LOL

I’m happy with some of these, in others…not so much. To me anyway, something is off in the pictures. I could tell at least in processing….some images didn’t process as easily. I know my friends and family will say that I’m too much of a perfectionist when it comes to my pictures and that these images look great. But…..I know when there is something not quite right when processing the image is difficult.

She also wanted a collage just like the little one.

A glimpse into the teen years

This has got to be my most favorite set of “E” so far. She loves to dress up and be all girlie. Her current infatuation is with the Jonas Brothers, so she is always getting ready to see them and go to their concert. When I gave her the mirror I saw an impromtu photo session in the making.

 

Rural Parke County

These were taken back at the end of November when Jen was here. It was so cold that day….so I stayed in my car and took these.  Most of these were taken on the way back from Bridgeton, Indiana. You all might remember that I did my senior shoots here. This is a favorite place of mine.
