This is a family of 4 sisters and between the 4 sisters, there are 8 children. I was so glad when I was contacted by one of the sisters to do a session with all of them. I love the energy of having that many little ones around me. I could have spent time with these little ones for hours.
This session marked the last evening session of the year. We really hustled to make it all happen before the sunset and wow, we sure did!

Heather contacted me while she was still pregnant to do “B”s newborn pictures. Finally, the call came that he was here. Heather and Net had to drive almost 2 hours to get to her mom’s home in Parke County. When I arrived, her mom been in the ER and the only good light available was in her bedroom. Even though she really didn’t have to, she insisted on moving to the guest room so that we could hold the session in there. I felt horrible, BUT we did get great pics with 100% all natural light.
I am so in love with these pics. If I’m not mistaken, Net said he is a budding photog and I could tell. He was really easy to work with and “posing” him was really easy. He seemed to know what I was asking. ha!

We did “T”s 3 month session the day before his 4 month birthday…so his 6 month birthday didn’t take too long to get here. 
Even in the short amount of time, “T” has gotten so much bigger. Oh and he can giggle!!! I couldn’t believe how much he giggled for me. What a little doll baby!!!

We have some crazy fluctuations in temperatures this year, haven’t we?
Anyway, I met up with Eddie, his sister and his mom on a very chilly October. We met up at Deming Park. I really love going here and especially love going in the fall. Eddie will be heading to the Marines for Basic Training after graduation. He is such a nice kid.

It seems like such a long time since I photographed Katie. I met up with her and her mom for some studio shots, then from there we headed to a favorite place for photographs, Deming Park. I am so glad that we chose to go towards the back of the park. I don’t usually venture that far back, I’m so glad that we did. Such another pretty spot of this park.
Katie was on Terre Haute South’s Volleyball team. I heard this team did very well. They were always on the news.

I love this family! I have worked with Brandie for over 10 years. I don’t consider her as a co-worker, she is a great friend. Readers of this blog may recognize the oldest one from the Snowball pictures I’ve done of her for the past 2 years. Brandie chose to do an urban session instead of buying their school pictures. After showing her the pictures, I know she loves what we got, even if I am making her picture poor. lol!

If I had studio space…the above picture would be in it….BIG. This image has to be my most favorite. Ok, I’ve got a lot of favorites in this session. Her mom is purchasing several canvas prints from this session.
While we were walking downtown Terre Haute, we went past “A Bit of Britain”. The owner was SO nice as to let us use some props and have some fun. What a super nice lady!!
There is something a little cool, a little creepy about the above images. ROFL!!

I’ve known Christine for a couple of years, so i was really excited when she asked me to do her family’s pictures. We met up at their house, then moved the session to Deming Park. I was so blessed to meet up with “A” and his mommy early one morning at the end of September. I’ve wanted to do a session in the early morning, so I’m glad that it worked out for them to meet then. “A” is SO cute!! In several of the images it looked as if he was singing to me…I think he was. Either that or he was giving me heck. lol!

Meet Miss “L”. She is the cousin of one of my Tiny Blessing Clients. They share the same birth month. I think it’s so cool that they are going to grow up together, I can see them acting more like sisters instead of cousins. I just love that!
When I photographed her cousins 1 year session, “T” was a little more picky with her cake. “L” on the other hand was a little more….shall we say….excited about her cake. lol She got so messy!! It was really cute!

B is growing up! It always amazes me how fast the year goes. Pretty soon I’ll be doing “B”‘s 1 year session and cake smash. This family has been such a joy to work with. Super nice, laid back…actually all my families are this way.

I’m not sure why Deming Park only mowed parts of the park…but, it worked out great for me.
