Sneak Peek~Benton Central 2010 Senior/Indiana High School Senior Photographer

I met up with Kelsey today on a VERY windy day. It was so windy that the wind caused my car door to slam me into the side of my car. Pretty hysterical, but not when you want to take pictures. Kelsey really rocked it out and I LOVE the locations! Benton County is a photographers playground, seriously. The majority of our session took place at her house. Don’t ever underestimate the character and potential of your house or town…there is something to use everywhere.

Kelsey sings with her schools choir and will graduate in June. She will start Ivy Tech in the Fall to start working towards her degree in Secondary Education. I can tell from talking to her and her mom that she has a huge heart for little ones. I think she will do very well in the area.

Her is such a small taste of our session. I am definitely¬†going back to this place soon. I don’t know how much longer it will be there, but it is SO cool!!

Barbara/Indiana Portrait Photographer

Yesterday I drove up to Benton County to photograph my Aunt! She needed some headshots and so she asked me do to them for her. Of course I said yes. The day was overcast, and windy….wait…’s ALWAYS windy at my Grandma’s. I can’t think of a time that I’ve been there when it wasn’t insanely windy. LOL Anyway, Aunt Barbara and I chose what she should wear and we picked a nice spot. I chose to use my 50mm 1.4 and really love the sharpness of the images. My family has some crazy blue eyes, huh?

Aunt Barbie…you look fabulous!!

Kayla~2010 Senior Session

I know it’s a little early for a 2010 Senior, but Kayla is my niece and very busy so I grab the chance when I can. Plus, when Jen came to town she hadn’t done a senior session yet so this gave Kayla more pictures and giving Jen and I a chance to work together doing what we love…taking beautiful pictures. It was great to Jen in action and to see her creative energy.

Kayla’s pictures took place in Boswell, Indiana on Thanksgiving, then when Jen arrived we took Kayla’s pictures at the old Clinton High School/Middle School. I have to tell you that this building is the perfect setting for an urban, edgy Senior shoot.
