New Photo Prop/Indiana Children Photographer

Okay, I swear I’m going to need a U-Haul truck to carry everything I would like to bring to a session! I got this neat antique trunk at a consignment shop here in Clinton. I will be highlighting this business before the end of April check back often. I can’t wait to tell you more about that business and the owner/creator. Okay, back to this trunk. When I saw the color, I knew it would photograph really well, so I asked my most favored model to take a break from her springtime fun to help me showcase this item. I think she did very well, don’t you?

Sneak Peek~”A”+”X”/Indiana Children Photographer

This past Sunday I drove up to Indianapolis to meet up with these two cuties. Some may recognize these little ones from the sessions that we had from 2009. It is amazing to me how much children can change in just a few short months. Little “A” had her first haircut and now has bangs. Such a little lady!!! These kids melt my heart.

Looking for milkweed

The greatest poem ever known
Is one all poets have outgrown:
The poetry, innate, untold,
Of being only four years old.
~Christopher Morley, To a Child

We have a field across from our house and this year they planted milo. Well, they finally came and harvested it. “E” and I had tried earlier in the year to look for milkweed and explore that area but the weeds and crops were so high that we struggled to get through it. On this day we were able to get right to the milkweed and we also found this huge leaf. “E” is becoming quite the little model lately. I asked her to put the leaf up to her face so we could show how big the leaf was compared to her face. Well, I got a lot of shots of her because she is starting to love posing.
