Working out that Pettiskirt

I bought a pettiskirt from Miss Things Boutique (http://www.missthingsboutique.com/). They have such a great selection of items. Very cute! When I got the skirt in the mail, I was very impressed with the thickness of the material and the quality of the stitching. I can’t wait to be able to purchase more from Miss Things.

Pettiskirts

I got two pettiskirts at Hot Topic when I went to Indianapolis a couple of weekends ago. They did have to have the elastic tightened to fit around “E”‘s waist but she looks so cute in them. I also had won a crocheted hat on e-bay and finally received that on Monday. I was so excited to get some photos of her to show her Grandma J. We set the seamless paper up in my kitchen. For most of the shots I used my 50mm 1.4 lens. I was standing on top of “E”‘s Elmo table to get the shots looking down as I couldn’t get back far enough to get her all in the frame. I finally asked “B” to get my 18-55mm lens and was able to get some shots at her eye level. The lighting consisted of my one main light, window light and a second light on, but not pointed at the paper. I have to find out what’s wrong with that one light. I think the bulb is getting close to burning out, but I’m not sure where to get a replacement bulb.
