Preview for Scott and Sarah/Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Scott and Sarah are heading off for the keys as I type this, so they probably will not see this until they get back. I had so much fun photographing their day. My daughter Bri, helped me photograph the wedding and reception. She did so good and you’ll be seeing some of her images when I’m done. I picked out just a few photographs to edit for a sneak. I really had a hard time because there are so many that I would love to show right now, but I can’t…there are just so many. I can not encourage strongly enough of getting to know your brides and grooms and vice versa, the bride and grooms getting to know your photographer. I photographed their engagement session in May and we spent all day together in Indy. That was so much fun and what a great way to connect with the people or person that is going to photograph your day. That was the only day we physically spent together, but through emails with the bride, mother of the bride and mother of the groom, you really get a great feel for how the family unit is. I really felt connected with these people. Scott and Sarah are such a huge blessing!! I think I told Scott’s mom that they needed to hurry and have babies so I can keep photographing them for years to come. =) Sounds good to me at least.

A few more from the wedding

This first photo was way underexposed, but I just loved the look and the pose. The wedding coordinator was behind L. fixing her dress so I had to figure out a way to remove the coordinator. This is my attempt. I think I kind of like it…reminds me of an antique feel to it.

Yes….there is more and more…..

I’m editing the actual wedding now. Looking at some of the images I think, “eh, could be better”, other images I’m think, “sweet! I didn’t know I caught this one.” LOL

Bride’s Photographs

I’ve been working slowly on the Bride’s pictures. I’ve had to re-do some of them to get them exactly the way I want them to look.

Lindsay and Will’s Wedding

Today I had the awesome privledge to photograph Lindsay and Will’s wedding. Let me tell you, it’s been 17 years since my wedding day, at I forgot how much work is involved for this day. Thank you guys for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of your day. You really made me feel as if I was part of your families. You’re both awesome!! Here’s to many, many years of wedding bliss.

This first two are a big favorite of mine. I’m sure there will be a lot. I don’t know what it is, but I just love it. There are so many to edit and it’s time for this gal to hit the bed, just wanted to share a little bit. Stay tuned, there will be more to come.
