Ashley and Josh~Reception Video

Ashley loves Michael Jackson songs. I thought it was only fitting to use this song to showcase her reception photos. There were so many that I wanted to show them all, and doing it in a video is the only way to go.

Megan and Culley~E-Session/Indiana Wedding Photographer

I finished editing Megan and Culley’s session and am so excited to share it with you. They are getting married in the summer of 2010. I can’t wait to be a part of their day. They are such a fun couple and are very much in love…it was such a great e-session. We met at Bridgeton, spent some time there and ended up in Mansfield. Both are in Parke County. What great locations, unfortunately I seriously misjudged how quickly the sun sets in the fall.

I hope you love the photos as much as I do. See you both in July.

I know I’m going to get this wrong….lol Culley coaches basketball? and Megan’s dad coaches baseball at West Vigo High School. Did I get it right?

Wedding Ceremony~Ashley & Josh/Indiana Wedding Photographer

The one thing I learned while editing this part of the day is that you just can’t beat having a second photographer. While I was editing Jen’s shots of the ceremony I would be like, “wow!! great angle/shot”. I just loved the light that fell on the the ceremony, I just really felt like they glowed.

I was glad to have Jen shooting with me because I wanted to be able to get a good shot of this part of the ceremony. I love how she focused on the tree as they walked away.

I also loved that she got a shot of all of the guests at the ceremony. I won’t share that on here as there is a lot but I’m so glad that she did.

This next shot that Jen took is “money”. It is simply perfection!

Scott and Sarah~Wedding Video/Indiana Wedding Photographer

I posted this before I got to say a little something about this couple. My daughter actually told one of Sarah’s family members about me, who then passed on the information. I am so thankful that she did. Scott and Sarah are just the greatest! They truly truly are crazy in love with each other. You can see it in the way they interact with each other. I was telling Sarah’s mom that there is just this spark whenever they are together.

When Bri and I left the reception that night I was already thinking about doing a video of all the images that we got there. I wondered what song I would put with it. Well, Justin Timberlakes song, “Bringing Sexy back” came on and I thought that there was the perfect song for them. If it would have been just images of Scott and Sarah, I probably would have used that song, however, I couldn’t justify it with the images of everyone, so Bri and I thought the Black Eyed Peas’ “I got a feeling” was more appropriate.

I hope you enjoy the video.

Preview for Scott and Sarah/Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Scott and Sarah are heading off for the keys as I type this, so they probably will not see this until they get back. I had so much fun photographing their day. My daughter Bri, helped me photograph the wedding and reception. She did so good and you’ll be seeing some of her images when I’m done. I picked out just a few photographs to edit for a sneak. I really had a hard time because there are so many that I would love to show right now, but I can’t…there are just so many. I can not encourage strongly enough of getting to know your brides and grooms and vice versa, the bride and grooms getting to know your photographer. I photographed their engagement session in May and we spent all day together in Indy. That was so much fun and what a great way to connect with the people or person that is going to photograph your day. That was the only day we physically spent together, but through emails with the bride, mother of the bride and mother of the groom, you really get a great feel for how the family unit is. I really felt connected with these people. Scott and Sarah are such a huge blessing!! I think I told Scott’s mom that they needed to hurry and have babies so I can keep photographing them for years to come. =) Sounds good to me at least.

Scott and Sarah~E-Session

Today I met up with Scott and Sarah at their house outside of Indy. We really had a good time and spent all day together going to the Canal, to the Indianapolis Museum of Arts and to The Traders Point Creamery, which by the way is where their wedding will be held in August. These two are so cute together and I’m sure that they will have many, many happy years together. They just fit, : p

These were taken during the beginning of our time together. When I’m finished, I’ll make a video like the ones you’ve been seeing on here to show you the rest.

I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in August! It is going to be awesome.

A few more from the wedding

This first photo was way underexposed, but I just loved the look and the pose. The wedding coordinator was behind L. fixing her dress so I had to figure out a way to remove the coordinator. This is my attempt. I think I kind of like it…reminds me of an antique feel to it.
