Sneak Peek~Haley~Oakwood High School/Illinois High School Senior Photographer

I met up with Hayley yesterday at Newport. Hayley brought her 2-year-old  daughter, mom and her best friend. Hayley’s daughter “A” is just the cutest little lady. I would take a picture of her and then I would saw “awww” when I saw the image and she would say “aww”. This little lady loves her mommy…oh it was such a joy to watch. You can tell that Hayley is such a good mommy. 🙂

Hayley is also very pretty, towards the end of our session..apparently others were appreciating her beauty as well. 😉

Here is a small peek of our session…more to come soon.

Flowers from my walk

The other day, my little sidekick and I went on a little “adventure” in the hay field next to my house. I of course took my camera and decided to do a little test. I wanted to see what happened to my images when I selected different meter settings. On my D90 I have the matrix metering, center weighted metering, and spot metering. The image I took using matrix ended up in the trash as it wasn’t sharp. The other two however, turned out very well. The only processing I did on the first two is to do a levels adjustment on them and then to sharpen them.

Nelson’s Greenhouse

I posted a blog a little bit ago about the local greenhouse in my hometown. Yesterday I took the little one and we went to see what colors were popping there. Becky was right, boy had things changed since the last time I was there. Their roses smell SO good!!!! The colors were just exploding everywhere. Seriously, if you have any question regarding flowers and/or vegetables, Becky and Kenny are the one to ask. Everyone there is so nice.

Shameless plug? Absolutely. 🙂 She always helps me.

Circle Centre in Indianapolis

This is Lucas Oil Stadium where the Colts play. I love the Colts, so I couldn’t resist taking a picture of it.

Nashvillve, Indiana Pt 2

I wanted to share some more images from my day in southern Indiana while I have the chance.

We decided that we will buy these chairs for when we are older. We envision us rocking in them in our older years, much older.

Golden Morning

The other morning I was going through my normal routine of getting ready for work when I noticed the wonderful sunrise and the light that is was casting on the trees. So, of course, I got my camera and went outside for a few moments. In the last image, I just LOVE the contrast of the sky and the sunlight. In the other shots, I went into the field across from my street and got down really low to the ground. What I love about the D90 is the live preview on it. I was able to switch from the view finder to seeing the shot in the LCD screen. I don’t use that option all that much, but it saved me from having to lay in the dirt to get those shots. 😀

Rural Parke County

These were taken back at the end of November when Jen was here. It was so cold that day….so I stayed in my car and took these.  Most of these were taken on the way back from Bridgeton, Indiana. You all might remember that I did my senior shoots here. This is a favorite place of mine.

Sue Henry shared this texture overlay that she got free from flickr. Visit sue’s site to see her incredible work.
