Sneak Peek~Adam & Sheena~E-Session/Parke County Engagement Photographer

I have known Sheena for a very long time. When I first met her she was 3 and in a long white nightgown. She was so cute! Now look at her… grown up and getting married.  Her whole family is more like my family than friends. I am so honored to be able to not only photograph her and Adam’s E-session, but to be able to take their weddings pictures.

We decided to go to Coxville to do their E-session.  There are two Covered Bridges there that we used as a backdrop for their session. We also got to use an area there to take some more pictures. I can’t wait to finish the session!

Here is a peek of their E-session.

Megan and Culley~E-Session/Indiana Wedding Photographer

I finished editing Megan and Culley’s session and am so excited to share it with you. They are getting married in the summer of 2010. I can’t wait to be a part of their day. They are such a fun couple and are very much in love…it was such a great e-session. We met at Bridgeton, spent some time there and ended up in Mansfield. Both are in Parke County. What great locations, unfortunately I seriously misjudged how quickly the sun sets in the fall.

I hope you love the photos as much as I do. See you both in July.

I know I’m going to get this wrong….lol Culley coaches basketball? and Megan’s dad coaches baseball at West Vigo High School. Did I get it right?

More from Mark and Michelle’s wedding

This couple is amazing! The story of how they met is also amazing. There is a lot of photos that show their affection. When I look at their photographs, I honestly believe that you can see the love they have for one another. The adoration is in their eyes, in their smile. They are totally head-over-heels in love with each other and with each others children. Mark’s mom told me that they think Michelle rocks. I love it!! What a blessing it was for me to see true love in action. They made me feel all warm and fuzzy. lol Seriously!

Mark and Michelle’s wedding in Mansfield

I had the honor of photographing Mark and Michelle’s wedding last night. Michelle was gorgeous and Mark looked so dashing. Mark’s parents surprised Michelle by driving 6-7 hours to get here. It was the most relaxed and romantic wedding I have ever seen.

Michelle and Mark, thank you for allowing me to be present during this very special moment in your lives. I hope you love the images as much as I do.

Test shots using the Canon 30D

My friend Samantha, of The Roxy Studio’s, is letting me use her camera and her 50mm 1.4 lens for the wedding on Thursday. I’ve been wanting to buy this type of lens ever since I saw what my other friend, Jen Rinaldi of Jen Rinaldi Photography was achieving. All I can say is oh my goodness!!! This is going to have to be my next purchase. This lens is awesome!!! I’m also learning that I like the way the 30D handles and how it feels in my hand. I love my Nikon, don’t get me wrong, it’s my “baby” LOL. But I could see me buying a canon camera one day too. I like the controls and the dials in the back. Both Nikon and Canon feels really nice in my hands.

So, anyway, Sam you are the most amazing person in the world. You are awesome!! Thank you. ;o) See you on Friday. (Oh, I guess my printer is also a card reader, so I was able to get the jpegs off the card, not the RAW though)

Here are the shots I took. Obviously, I need to practice a bit more. My oldest and I were up way too late last night goofing off taking funny pictures with the Canon. I was practicing the 3200 ISO setting. We got some hilarious shots of each other. I’m not sure if I’ll be showing the pics she took of me thought. HA!!

My test session with the Bride

Last night Michelle and I met at the Mansfield Bridge in scenic Parke County. Like I’ve mentioned before, this little town has the most amazing Bridge, mill and dam. It’s just the most perfect place for the wedding that Michelle and Mark have planned. It’s going to be a private ceremony and think that is probably what I should have done. LOL Seriously, this allows the bride and groom to focus only on each other. Since it’s going to take place in late evening with the actual ceremony held right as it gets dark, Michelle agreed to meet me there so that we could practice with the settings that I’ll need to use on Thursday. Michelle is going to make such a beautiful bride! She has the best eyes and a smile that is contagious. So, here are some of the shots that I took.
