“C”~Newborn Session/Terre Haute Indiana Newborn Photographer

Meet the squishiest, sleepiest little baby I’ve photographed. He has rolls and was just so easy to move around. He was literally a limp noodle in my hands. 🙂

While I was taking the maternity session, we had talked about me being in the delivery room taking pictures of “C”s birth. Well, Kim didn’t deliver until around 2 in the morning…so needless to say, I wasn’t able to be there. However, before work a day or so after his birth, I went to the hospital to capture his cuteness. I love how they came out.

Day 4: I met at their house to get some more studio style shots. 🙂 Enjoy some of my favorites!!

Baby “I”~Newborn Session/Effingham Illinois Newborn Photographer

Meet Mr. Eager  , I mean “I”. He was scheduled to arrive on January 6, but decided to come before Christmas. 🙂 He was the last session of 2010 and what a way to end the year. He is so cute. I drove to Effingham to meet up with them at their home.

I brought my studio lights, but didn’t need to use them because they had such wonderful natural light in their dining room. I am so glad of how the images turned out.

9 Month Session~”T”/Cayuga and Clinton Indiana Photographer

What a difference a couple of months make! Little “T” has changed so much in just a couple of months. What a little cutie!

I love going to their house, there is SO much family history in every area of their home. I used a couple of items that date back to WWI. David has a flag that his great-grandmother made to hang in the window of their home. Go to this link for a description of the flags: http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/us%5Esvc.html#svc

David also has his great grandfathers uniform and that is what “T” is wearing in one of his pictures.

I love the design that Eliza drew on the wall.

“B”~5 month old/Terre Haute Indiana Infant and Children Photographer

The “H” family is back! I know you all recognize this family. This we met up for a studio session with some cute ideas! A little snow-white, a little fairy princess, a little mommy and me cooking. It all adds up to some REALLY cute photos.

I had some problems with some extreme static! My lights were popping when someone would touch me, or move my drops. Some other photographers suggested using dryer sheets to cut down on that problem. Here are a few of my favorites.

Introducing the adorable and fashionable little “C”!

I went to their house for this wonderful little session. This girl has the makings of becoming a fashionista! You should see this little girls closet and accessories! She is a photographer’s dream. Bows, headbands, flowers, cute clothes…love it!!

As seems to be the way it’s going to be with me and newborns, she pretended to sleep for me…lol Here are some of my favorites

“K”~6 month session/Terre Haute Indiana Infant and Children Photographer

I met up with “K” and her family when it just started turning a little chilly. I love being able to see these little ones at all different stages. “K” had just mastered the art of sitting up on her own. Still had to watch out for her though as her balance would wobble just a bit. 🙂

Here are some of my favorites from the session. Want to say a huge thanks to PhotoProp Floors and Backdrops for their awesome backdrops! I love using them.

Jen + Chris=Engaged!/Indianapolis, Indiana Engagment and Wedding Photographer

In September I flew out to New Jersey to help my friend Jen Rinaldi of http://www.jenrinaldiphotography.com/, to second shoot a wedding with her.

Eventually, I’ll show some of my shots from that gorgeous wedding, but today…it’s all about J+C.

I was so excited to see my friend again, but even more excited to finally meet her guy! I knew Chris was a nice guy…but after meeting him, well…he’s even more than just a “nice guy”. He’s so down to earth and was so easy to talk to. Even though I hadn’t ever talked to him in person, we talked as if we had been friends for a long time. He is a great match for my friend. 🙂

On Friday, we drove to the spot she likes to take families for photos. Avon-by-the-Sea is the most beautiful spot. I’m in love with beaches and this was heaven! Usually you can take families all the way to the end of the jetty to do the pictures, but, Hurricane Earl (I think) was turning off the east coast causing the waves to be quite high. We weren’t able to get out that far on the jetty and even the spot where we were…we ended up having to move quickly to avoid getting wet. (This would prove to be a bad spot the next day for the grooms pictures…..yikes!)

After the beach we went to Point Pleasant for more pictures on the boardwalk. I was seriously in Heaven! Terre Haute isn’t “country”, but when I was photographing them, I just felt so far from what I’m used to. I shoot in fields, parks, etc. I could get used to shooting on beaches though. And shooting an engagement session in a carnvial…oh my goodness…that was SO cool!

Ok, I’m trying to be all eloquent and such and I stink at writing so I’ll get on with the pictures. I do want to thank Jen and Chris for letting me take their pictures. I didn’t know then that they would turn into their engagement pictures, so I’m glad that I was there. I love you both!
