Winter Session/Indiana High School Photographer

“B” contacted me at the end of fall wanting to have some pictures in the snow. I couldn’t wait for enough snow to fall to schedule her session. On Saturday, we finally had enough snow to make some amazing photographs. We didn’t take as many as I usually do as it was really cold, like around 7 degrees.

I am so very pleased with how they came out.

Here is “B” with her friend “J”. You may remember “J” from the session that I did with here. You can see that here https://julielawsonphotography.wordpress.com/2009/11/05/jessica2010-s-v-h-s-seniorindiana-high-school-senior-photographer/

“J” is also wearing some scarves that were made for my by a very talented lady. You can view your FB page by going here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Clinton-IN/Julie-Lawson-Photography/130867719377?v=info&viewas=1399372466#/pages/Yarnin-To-Please/241234215880

Teen portraits/Indiana Teen Photographer

I’m still around and still editing, but I’m on a mini vacation from session until after the first of the year. I’m preparing my 2010 pricing, some packages and such. I’ll be announcing all of that on January 2nd.

I was burning some of my early 2009 personal family photos and realized that there were photos I haven’t edited. The ones I’m highlighting are from November, though. There will be more personal photos that I’ll be sharing soon.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season. Please remember to slow down and enjoy this time in life.

LOVE this one. It’s three photos merged together….obviously, right? LOL

I’m experimenting with a few different actions and textures and I’m kind of liking it. I’m not sure that I would use them with clients, but I might. Not sure yet. 🙂

Check out this blog from MCP Actions. I got a lot of free textures from the links posted.

Studio portraits

Getting pictures of my oldest is just about as hard as getting pictures of my youngest. I secured a session with another Senior today, which I’m thrilled about. For this Senior’s session, we are going to include a little studio time. Since I’ve yet to do a lot of studio shots and my oldest wanted photos for her facebook, I though I would kill two birds with one stone. On my studio lights, I have colored filters which I used for these. I really love how the red filter made the photographs turn out. I also used blue, but can’t tell as much as I can with the red one.
