Justin & Ashley/Clinton Indiana Engagement-Wedding Photographer

I’ve known Ashley for about 10 years…she lives right down the road from me. So, when she asked me to take her and Justin’s pictures and to photograph their wedding ceremony..well, of course I had to say yes. 🙂

I had such a good time with Justin and Ashley, they have such great personalities and remind me a lot of my husband and I when we were first married.  I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next month.

Elizabeth & Gene/Clinton Indiana Engagement Photographer

I met up with Elizabeth and Gene at my house for a couple of studio shots. From there, we headed to Montezuma for some outdoor portraits.

Some may remember Elizabeth from when I did her Senior pictures almost 2 years ago. It was just a pleasure to work with her again. 🙂

Here are some of my favorites from their session.

Enjoy!

Sneak Peek~Benton Central 2010 Senior/Indiana High School Senior Photographer

I met up with Kelsey today on a VERY windy day. It was so windy that the wind caused my car door to slam me into the side of my car. Pretty hysterical, but not when you want to take pictures. Kelsey really rocked it out and I LOVE the locations! Benton County is a photographers playground, seriously. The majority of our session took place at her house. Don’t ever underestimate the character and potential of your house or town…there is something to use everywhere.

Kelsey sings with her schools choir and will graduate in June. She will start Ivy Tech in the Fall to start working towards her degree in Secondary Education. I can tell from talking to her and her mom that she has a huge heart for little ones. I think she will do very well in the area.

Her is such a small taste of our session. I am definitely going back to this place soon. I don’t know how much longer it will be there, but it is SO cool!!

Best Friends/Terre Haute Indiana High School Photographer

This was by far my most fun session to date. I’ve known these girls for such a long time! They are beautiful, have a wild sense of fashion ;p and know how to have fun. More importantly though, they have big hearts and they love God.

We met at the Pie company in Terre Haute and walked around the campus of ISU for a bit After a quick clothing change, we headed towards downtown Terre Haute to walk around and see what we could find. We found a cool alley that seems to be a favorite of local photographers and I can see why. However, it’s a good thing that the pictures don’t convey the smells there. Phew!! Stinky, but these girls make it look so easy to ignore it. After that, we finished very quickly on some tracks.

Thank you SO much girls for asking me to take your pictures, you both are so pretty. I love to document best friends..it warms my heart. I know that the both of you are going to do big things for God!

Karli~2010 S.V. Senior/Terre Haute Indiana High School Photographer

Karli and I met about a year ago when she attended classes at the place that I work. I’m so glad that we did! Karli plans on attending college at the end of May. She is pursuing her degree in Nursing. Thank you so much Karli for allowing me to take your Senior Pictures.

We had such beautiful weather that weekend, but it was very windy. We set out to Bridgeton in Parke County and finished up at the square in Rockville. I was so excited to see the color on some of the shops. There was so much to choose from in just one little area!!

I love the outfits that Karli chose to wear, she has a great sense of what looks good. Just check out her shoes…they are awesome!!

She wanted to copy mommy! =)

Check out her shoes!! I love them!

Ashley~ 2009 Senior Rep

I met with Ashley today to do her Senior pictures. She is my Senior Rep for South Vermillion High School. We spent close to four hours together getting all sorts of shots and in all sorts of locations through Vermillion and Parke County. She is such a nice girl with a good head on her shoulders. She knows what she wants to do with her life and I think that is awesome!

We started our session at a building on Crompton hill in Clinton, went to the railroad tracks on Water Street, went to her families farm, then her neighbors property. After there, her mom, Bri, Ashley and I headed out to Parke County to Bridgeton Covered Bridge where we wrapped up with ice cream. This first shot shows Ashley’s funny side. LOL I am so pleased with how these are all turning out Ashley. Thanks again for being such a great sport and putting up with the heat that we had and for wading out in the chilly waters with me to capture some fun photographs.
