Seth~2011 S.V. Senior/Clinton and Terre Haute Indiana High School Senior Photographer

I guess it’s a sign that I’m no longer as young as I think I am when kids that I saw as newborns are now graduating, huh? I still feel young so that’s all that matters.

Seth has turned into such a nice young man. I really loved spending time with him and his mom during our session together.

Here are some of my favorites. Thank you for choosing me to do your pictures.

Krystina~2011 S.V. Senior/Clinton Indiana High School Senior Photographer

I had such a great time with Krystina and her mom. When we met up, it was very gloomy and a little misty, but we made it work. I went to school with Krystina’s mom and even though we live in the same town, this was the first time we have seen each other since we graduated. It was wonderful to reconnect with ya!

Krystina is such a pretty girl. I hope you love your pics. Enjoy the rest of your Senior year!

Taylor~2011 T.H.S.V. Senior/Terre Haute Indiana High School Senior Photographer

Taylor, her mom and I met up at Bridgeton, Indiana at 8:00 a.m. It’s a good thing that we did because I think by 9:30 we were all an icky mess. Taylor really did a fabulous job and it was so great to be around her and her mom again. I photographed her older sisters wedding last year and that is how I got to meet her and her mom. What great people!!

I have several favorites, (don’t I always, lol) so bear with me.

Thanks for looking!

This is the view I had when I parked that morning.

Sneak Peek~Taylor 2011 S.Vigo/Terre Haute High School Senior Photographer

I met up with Taylor and her mom yesterday morning at 8:00 a.m. in Bridgeton. Bridgeton is in Parke County and is such a beautiful place for pictures. I’m glad that we started as early as we did….by 9:30 or so…it was getting too hot for outdoor pictures. From Bridgeton, we headed to my house for the studio part of her session. Here is a peek for now of her session. Check back for more.

Meet “Tank”

Isn’t she stunning?

Sneak Peek~K&K’s Birthday Pictures/Clinton & Terre Haute Indiana Photographer

I took the girls out for their birthday session. Their birthday’s are close enough together that we just photograph them at the same time. These girls are so much fun to work with. They have their own ideas for poses, especially that little one! Ha!

I had this idea to use balloons and I finally got to do it and I feel that these girls helped me to achieve the vision in my head perfectly.

A big thank you to Kenny and Becky at Nelson’s Greenhouse on Hwy 163 in Clinton for letting me use their area behind the greenhouses for this.

Hello 90!/Terre Haute Indiana Event Photographer

This lady is amazing! Her daughter told me that she does aqua aerobics at the Y, has went through 3 treadmills and is getting ready to buy another. She is active and spunky and I just adore her. Oh! and her brother, he’s 93…talk about longevity.

I photographed this event on May 2nd and what an honor to be surrounded by some pretty amazing people. I’m sure there were many stories that could be told in that room. I was especially touched at the devotion that her daughters, grand children and great-grandchildren showed to “M”. This family reminds me a lot of mine and how we feel about our grandmother. “M”s love for her girls was also very telling. There are several shots of her pointing. She’s pointing out her girls to the guests at the party. Enjoy the photos that I’ve picked out to highlight.

This is what came with the custom-made necklace that the daughters put together.

The above image of the necklace was e-mailed to me by the daughter who made this.

The Birthday girl!

Her daughters

This is her brother…He’s 93!! Love their devotion!

The whole family

The food looked and smelled wonderful! It was catered by Sycamore Manor in Terre Haute. Definitely need to contact them for your catering needs.

She was talking about her hat. 🙂

Sneak Peek~Newborn “K”/Terre Haute Indiana Photographer

I was going to write a post about this yesterday morning, but my how things can get a little crazy!

“K” is my youngest newborn session to date. I don’t think they get any newer then this…today she is 1 week old. We took these pictures Wednesday afternoon and she was SO sleepy. What a little dream, she’s enough to make you swoon. Okay, okay I know enough rambling and on to the pictures.

I can’t wait to show you more of the photos, they are simply gorgeous!

Happy Mother’s Day/Terre Haute Indiana Photographer

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.  ~Washington Irving

Happy Mother’s Day Grandma J!! We all love you very much and hope your day is wonderful.

I wanted to share some photos that I took yesterday. I really love how they came out.

With my own mother in Heaven and no pictures scanned of her, I’m sharing a picture of my Grandmother. She has been and is a very large part of my life. I think back to all the things in my life that was hard and remember that she was there with her quiet support. She is completely devoted to her family, and although she doesn’t outwardly show it, she loves us all so much. I love you Grandma!!

Leslie’s Baby Shower/Terre Haute Indiana Event Photographer

I’ve finally finished with Leslie’s baby shower photos. Little Wyatt though has already made his grand appearance. I’ve seen a picture and he is gorgeous!!

Here are a few photos of the shower.

Leslie and Lindsay are good friends and they are both (were) pregnant at the same time with boys.

It was WINDY that day!

This is Leslie with her sisters, mom, son and her niece.

Sneak Peek “B’s” 6 month session/Terre Haute Indiana Children Photographer

This is our third session in my “Tiny Blessing” Sessions. I am always so amazed at how fast the little ones grow. I love to watch that, I also love to watch the family grow together as well. It’s an awesome thing to see. Here is a little peek from our session. More to come soon.
