Seth~2011 S.V. Senior/Clinton and Terre Haute Indiana High School Senior Photographer

I guess it’s a sign that I’m no longer as young as I think I am when kids that I saw as newborns are now graduating, huh? I still feel young so that’s all that matters.

Seth has turned into such a nice young man. I really loved spending time with him and his mom during our session together.

Here are some of my favorites. Thank you for choosing me to do your pictures.

Krystina~2011 S.V. Senior/Clinton Indiana High School Senior Photographer

I had such a great time with Krystina and her mom. When we met up, it was very gloomy and a little misty, but we made it work. I went to school with Krystina’s mom and even though we live in the same town, this was the first time we have seen each other since we graduated. It was wonderful to reconnect with ya!

Krystina is such a pretty girl. I hope you love your pics. Enjoy the rest of your Senior year!

Taylor~2011 T.H.S.V. Senior/Terre Haute Indiana High School Senior Photographer

Taylor, her mom and I met up at Bridgeton, Indiana at 8:00 a.m. It’s a good thing that we did because I think by 9:30 we were all an icky mess. Taylor really did a fabulous job and it was so great to be around her and her mom again. I photographed her older sisters wedding last year and that is how I got to meet her and her mom. What great people!!

I have several favorites, (don’t I always, lol) so bear with me.

Thanks for looking!

This is the view I had when I parked that morning.

Sneak Peek~Taylor 2011 S.Vigo/Terre Haute High School Senior Photographer

I met up with Taylor and her mom yesterday morning at 8:00 a.m. in Bridgeton. Bridgeton is in Parke County and is such a beautiful place for pictures. I’m glad that we started as early as we did….by 9:30 or so…it was getting too hot for outdoor pictures. From Bridgeton, we headed to my house for the studio part of her session. Here is a peek for now of her session. Check back for more.

Meet “Tank”

Isn’t she stunning?

Sneak Peek~”B & E”/Terre Haute Indiana Photographer

My weekend was filled with young people and I loved it so much! On Sunday, I met up with these two lovely ladies for a best friend session. I don’t think I’ve walked so much in a long time. We started out on the campus of ISU and ended our day on the railroad tracks. They have a fun style that matches their personality. Here is your peek girls! I had a blast! ❤

Sugar and Spice/Indiana Portrait Photographer

To me, these are everything nice about girls. 🙂

There is much I would love to say about these images…the words are rolling around but I’m not sure that words will do justice to what I feel. Two of these girls are mine, the other girl is my niece. Last Sunday “B” came over to hang out after church and to play around with my new backdrops. Besides my girls, “B” is my most often photographed girl.

I wanted to photograph in natural light so I could really create a blurred background using a low aperture, but it just got too late in the day for that. So, I brought up my studio lights and set it up in my kitchen. I’m sure my neighbors must wonder what goes on in my house with all the lights flashing all the time. 🙂 We got some funny outtakes, but we also got some good serious ones.

I just love texture…I just can’t help myself.

The above picture shows the backdrop stand…but I don’t care. This is real and it shows her with one of her most treasured possession…her blankie. That blanket is showing severe signs of wear and tear so I was glad to get a few pictures of her with it.

The “B” Family/Indiana Portrait Photographer

This family holds a very special place in my heart. Why? Because this is my middle sister and her family. I just love being able to photograph my family. 🙂 I took the older ones Senior pictures in July and took “b”s school pictures last year so we took this opportunity to take her 10 grade pictures too. 🙂

Girls just wanna have fun/Terre Haute Photographer

It’s always a lot of fun to be around a bunch of girls who know how to be natural in front of the camera. It’s even better when the girls are best friends. This group of girls have been friends for a very long time. I love these pictures.

I was asked to take them “getting ready” for the Annual Snowball Dance that is held in Terre Haute by one of the girls’ mom. I love being able to capture a particular time in a childs life. I took her pictures last year as well, so it was neat to see some of the pictures hanging on the daughter’s wall, from that time.

Kayla P.~2010 S.V.H.S./Indiana High School Senior Photographer

I finished up Kayla’s session yesterday. I really am so pleased with the way the session turned out. The lighting on the second day was just so beautiful. I am noticing more and more lately that the sunlight seems softer in the fall. Very beautiful.

Kayla, I really enjoyed working with you. Have a great Senior year!

Kayla is an amazing artist! Check out this picture

LOVE this image!! Love the light, location, everything!

Sneak Peek~Haley~Oakwood High School/Illinois High School Senior Photographer

I met up with Hayley yesterday at Newport. Hayley brought her 2-year-old  daughter, mom and her best friend. Hayley’s daughter “A” is just the cutest little lady. I would take a picture of her and then I would saw “awww” when I saw the image and she would say “aww”. This little lady loves her mommy…oh it was such a joy to watch. You can tell that Hayley is such a good mommy. 🙂

Hayley is also very pretty, towards the end of our session..apparently others were appreciating her beauty as well. 😉

Here is a small peek of our session…more to come soon.
